Pakistani celebrities slammed over condolence messages on Pahalgam attack

Hania Amir, Fawad Khan, and others face backlash from Pakistani fans for expressing grief over the Pahalgam attack in Indian-Occupied Kashmir while ignoring the Jaffar Express tragedy in Balochistan.

Pakistani celebrities, including Hania Amir, Fawad Khan, and Ayeza Khan, are under fire for expressing condolences on the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Indian Occupied Jammu Kashmir.

Fawad Khan updated his Instagram story, in which he expressed sorrow over the attack and expressed condolences. The actor said in an Instagram story, “Deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Hania Amir, though, did not directly mention the Pahalgam attack in her Instagram story, but she said: “Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope—we are one. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always.”

Ayeza Khan did not post any statement, however, she posted only a broken heart emoji. Mawra Hocane, who appeared in the Bollywood film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam,’ also offered her condolences. She didn’t shy away from expressing her disgust towards the attack and its impact on the victims’ families. She wrote, “My deepest condolences to the affected families… An act of terrorism against one is terrorism against all… What’s happening to the world?”

Singer and actor Farhan Saeed said, “Condolences to the victims’ families.” These actors are receiving flak from the Pakistani fans and netizens for not speaking up for the victims of the Jaffer Express attack in Balochistan. Netizens pointed out that while Indian netizens, media, and government are accusing Pakistan of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and threatening an attack on the country, they are busy appealing to their Indian followers instead of defending their country.
