The Pakistani team won the Rostec International Firework Festival in Moscow, the capital of Russia this week. The team displayed spectacular work in the competition.
Eight teams participated in the event from all over the world. The Pakistani team was led by Shahid Butt that displayed the firework to the national song ‘Iss Parcham Kay Saye Talay’ in consonant with the month of Independence, August. The company also displayed fireworks to the folk songs Dama Dam Mast Qalandar and Latthay Di Chadar.
Shahid Butt received the winning trophy on behalf of the Pakistani team after being judged and declared the winner. “It is an honor to win a trophy for Pakistan at the international event,” said Butt. He added that the government had fully supported them to participate in the event.
Shahid Butt represented a Pakistani pyrotechnics team (Allied Fireworks) in the competition on August 14th. He asserted that they used modern technology and creative artwork to show off Pakistani fireworks to the audience in Moscow.
The Pakistani team met with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia after winning the competition. In the meeting, Shahib Butt apprised the ambassador about the technology used in the firework and how it was mixed with the Pakistani folk songs that won the hearts of the audience.

The contest was held in Moscow above the Moscow River. According to Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Shafqat Ali Khan, the Pakistani team displayed spectacular work in Moscow. Ambassador asserted that people-to-people contact and cultural ties strengthen relations between countries. The envoy added that these competitions will strengthen the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Russia. The Pakistani embassy in Moscow also gave Shahid Butt a souvenir for the outstanding performance.
Ambassador added that the first position of the company in the festival has proven the talent and competence of the team.
