Parmesh Adiwal, renowned for his significant contributions to the Pakistani entertainment realm through directing and producing films and TV shows, has recently garnered attention for his decision to convert to Islam. This personal and spiritual choice underscores a deep inner journey that reflects his individual beliefs and convictions.
His new name is Muhammad. Industry colleagues Humayun Alamgir and actor Feroze Khan offered him support and felicitated him.
People from the entertainment industry embracing Islam is nothing new. Last year, Indian actor Vivian Dsena had embraced Islam. The actor says he has been practicing Islam since 2019. Dsena says that he finds peace after praying five times a day.
Talking to the Bombay Times, he said, “Nothing much has changed in my life. I was born Christian, and I follow Islam now. I started following Islam during the holy month of Ramadan in 2019. I find a lot of peace and solace in praying five times a day. So, here I put all the unsought speculations to rest.”
Vivian Dsena confirmed his marriage to an Egyptian woman. The couple has a four-month daughter too. In the same interview he said, “Yes, I am married and have a four-month-old daughter. What’s the big deal about it, and how is this anyone’s concern? We would have announced the news of my marriage and the arrival of my daughter, but when I thought the time was right, I tied the knot with Nouran in an intimate ceremony in Egypt around a year ago.”
