For individuals seeking employment in the UAE, the consulate advised verifying the legitimacy of employers through official channels like the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate-General in Dubai. The consul-general also encouraged job seekers to consult the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) for labor laws and regulations.

Visa and Employment Verification

Visas issued in Dubai can be verified through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, while those from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other emirates should be confirmed with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security. The advisory also emphasized the need for individuals to keep records of important documents such as medical records, passports, and employment contracts, while sharing these details with close family members in both Pakistan and the UAE.
