Pakistan’s 2nd ACES MEET is moving forward with full force

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Air Force, participating air forces are actively engaged in multiple missions across the spectrum of airpower.

Multinational air exercise, “ACES MEET 2021-1” continues at its full pace, with participating air forces actively engaged in multiple missions across the spectrum of airpower.

Pakistan on Monday announced the commencement of its multinational air force exercise ‘Aces Meet 2021-1’ at an undisclosed operational airbase.

The exercise began on March 29 at an Operational Air Base of Pakistan Air Force on Monday.

Air Marshal Syed Noman Ali, Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force reviewed the ongoing multi-national air exercise “ACES Meet 2021-1” at an undisclosed Operational Air Base of Pakistan Air Force on Monday.

According to the ISPR the Vice Chief of Air Staff, PAF was given a comprehensive brief by Commandant Airpower Center of Excellence, Air Commodore Ahsen Yousaf, about the salient features and progress of the exercise. The Vice Chief expressed satisfaction over the operational preparedness of the participating units and the conduct of the exercise.

The purpose of the ACES MEET 2021 exercise is to maximize the combat readiness of all participant countries by providing them with a realistic training environment for air combat and counterterrorism operations.

The exercise which also involves synergetic employment of various assets including special forces is aimed at enhancing coordination and harmony between ground elements and air components of the campaign.

According to earlier reports, The Royal Saudi Air Force and the United States Air Force are supposed to be participating with their aircraft, however, the Iraqi Air Force and Palestinian paratroopers will attend the ACES MEET without any fighter jets.

Recently, Pakistan also participated in the Al-Saqoor II exercise in Saudi Arabia with the country’s fighter jets have been doing in the past as well.

In the past, Pakistan has also participated in the Zilzal exercise with Qatar, the Anatolian Eagle exercise with Turkey, and the Shaheen exercise with China.
