Addressing the rumors of his return to PTI, former minister Fawad Chaudhry said that he never left the party. He said that he has always been part of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf.
He expressed these views while talking to the media outside the court. Chaudhry said that people only know the story of those who are allowed to talk on media. There are many like him from the party whose stories are unheard by people. They are not allowed to talk and share their experiences.
Fawad Chaudhry added that people heard about many of the PTI leaders through interviews and conferences.
A few day back, anchorperson and journalist Alina Shigri had claimed that few of the party leaders who left the party or were forced to leave the party are making a comeback now. She mentioned the names of Fawad Chaudhry, Sadaqat Abbasi, Usman Dar.

“A major PTI figure’s comeback is in the making!!! Fawad Chaudhry is all set to be re-inducted next week following a final meeting with Imran Khan in jail. The move comes on the heels of Punjab chapter’s abysmal performance and its conspicuous absence from the political scene. Khan needs someone to fill the void and he has chosen @fawadchaudhry following his incarceration and refusal to become an approver against Imran,” said Alina Shigri in her tweet on X.
According to her, Fawad Chaudhry was all set to meet Imran Khan this week in Adiala jail, to make his formal comeback in the party. However, the meeting has been postponed on the instructions of Imran Khan.
As per the latest development, PTI core committee has postponed the matter of the return of its members till the release of Imran Khan.
The news of the return of Fawad Chaudhry had met with strong reaction on social media. He is being accused of leaving the party in difficult times. Chaudhry, however, was arrested on corruption charges and was released a few days back.
