The new training kit of the Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi pays a tribute to the cultural and historical heritage of KP. Owner of Zalmi, Javed Afridi shared a picture of the jersey on his Twitter account on Sunday.
The new training kit is named, Heritage Edition, ahead of the sixth edition. The shirt is green in color with yellow floral patterns on it. The shirt features various historic monuments. Patterns on the jersey focus on the heritage of KP and particularly of the north of Pakistan. While talking to Geo Tv, Afridi said the idea behind the jersey is to promote our culture through PSL and Zalmi. The shirt will highlight what the region has to offer the world.”

The shirt features Khyber Pass, Islamia College, Ghanta Ghar, Edward College, the traditional truck art patterns, national animal Markhor, national flower jasmine, K2 peaks, and Malam Jabba.

Afridi is making big strides for his team, Peshawar Zalmi, and for the promotion of the Pakistan Super League. Afridi has been making big partnerships for his team. So far, he has partnered with Huawei, Haier, Oppo, TCL, AIRLINKS, McDonald’s, and MG.
While PSL 6 is to begin on February 20th, the official anthem of PSL, Groove Mera has become the top social media trend. Many of the social media users on Twitter have not liked the song. The makers of the song have been trolled on Twitter. The song features two powerful female vocalists of Pakistan, Aima Baig, and Naseebo Lal.
Female singers led the official anthem of PSL 6 for the first time. The song also featured rappers, Young Stunners, who have been making rounds on social media for the past few years. Due to the prevailing situation of coronavirus, PCB has confirmed that no official ceremony of the song release will be held. However, it is unconfirmed if the government will allow the cricket board to welcome the crowd in the stadium. The board is hopeful to host the crowd following the permission of the government.
The officials have confirmed that the event will begin as scheduled and the foreign players have marked their availability. A total of 34 matches will be played in the month-long tournament that will end on March 22, 2021.

PSL 2021 matches will be played in Karachi and Lahore. The first 17 matches will be played in Karachi and the remaining will be played in Lahore. Six teams, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultan, Islamabad United, and Lahore Qalandars will be competing in the match.
