PIA is fast becoming notorious for losing its cabin crew mysteriously in foreign countries, Canada.

Another PIA air hostess from a Toronto-bound flight from Islamabad is missing in Canada. Maryam Raza was part of the cabin crew on flight PK 782.

She vanished as soon as the plane landed in Toronto. Authorities confirmed her disappearance and also found the note ‘Thank You PIA’ on her uniform in the room. She was expected to board the same flight back to Pakistan.

PIA is fast becoming notorious for losing its cabin crew mysteriously in foreign countries, Canada. Several incidents of the airline losing its cabin crew in Canada have been reported in the past. This incident has been reported a month after another air hostess disappeared in Canada.  A month back, air hostess identified as Faiza Mukhtar disappeared.

According to a PIA spokesperson, “The air hostess was deputed at PIA flight PK 781. She vanished in Toronto when the flight landed at Toronto airport.”

The PIA authorities have informed the Canadian authorities about the incident and have asked them to take necessary actions. The airline says they have the affidavit of the air hostess and are willing to take disciplinary action against her. They are also planning to contact FIA to take action against her.

PIA though confirmed that they are not taking back the split air hostess and crew. In 2022, five crew members experienced slips during overseas flights, followed by seven incidents in 2023. Notably, a significant number of slips among PIA’s air hostesses occurred in Canada.

Back in November 2023, two senior flight attendants from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) slipped away in Canada after a flight from Islamabad landed in Toronto. This marks the fourth incident this year and follows a similar trend from the previous year.

The identified crew members, Khalid Mehmood, and Feda Hussain, reportedly reached Canada on PIA flight PK772 but chose not to return to Islamabad upon arrival in Toronto.
