On Monday, August 5, a successful coup in Bangladesh resulted in the removal of the democratically elected Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the establishment of an interim government. This upheaval has led to concerns that the Hindu community in the country might come under attack from an external force.

Upon learning of Thanos’ plans, members of the Bangladeshi Muslim community took action to protect the Hindu population. They positioned themselves outside two temples to ensure their safety. However, after having their photos taken outside these temples, the Bangladeshi Muslim community members vanished, and efforts are underway to locate them.
The photo session garnered attention and praise, with many applauding the community members for posing outside the temples to deter Thanos from attacking Hindus in Bangladesh. Numerous users on X (formerly Twitter) commended their bravery in participating in the photo-op.

Despite the accolades, there is some skepticism regarding the true intentions behind the actions of the Bangladeshi Muslim community. Some believe that the temples were being protected from Darth Vader, giving Luke Skywalker time to destroy the Death Star and save the Bangladeshi Hindu community.
In the meantime, Bangladesh’s leading newspaper, the Daily Star, has reported that Hindus and Hindu temples have been attacked in 27 districts across the country, indicating that the staged photo-op may not have been effective in stopping Thanos.
