Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a new Twitter handle @ArabicIk to put out news and information about the PM in the Arabic language, reported foreign media outlet Arab News on Thursday. The move is aimed at expanding the outreach of the premier outside Pakistan. Previously, the prime minister had launched a Twitter handle in Turkish.
The account launched in May has videos of PM Khan’s speeches and interviews with messages in the Arabic language. The premier has 12.5 million followers on his official Twitter account and is the topmost followed Pakistani.
The Arabic Twitter account is aimed at expanding the outreach of his messages to the Arabic-speaking followers and nations. PM Khan’s new Twitter handle in Arabic signifies the cordial relations of Pakistan with the Arab countries.

The Pakistani premier has another account set up in Turkish language in November 2018. The account has 7000 followers. Pakistan enjoys brotherly relations with both the leading nations in the Muslim world-Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
