Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to watch the closing ceremony of HBL PSL 7 in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on February 27.
According to a report published in a local media outlet, PCB intends to officially invite PM Imran Khan who is also the patron-in-chief of the cricket board. Apart from him, other government officials will also be invited to the closing ceremony of HBL PSL 7.
Reports also claim that the officials of the Australian Cricket Team who would have reached Pakistan for the series by that time will be invited to attend the last match of HBL PSL 7.
Earlier, PM Imran Khan had opened the upcoming HBL PSL 7 with a TikTok-Esque video leaving social media users amazed.

Imran Khan’s message
HBL PSL 7 began Thursday, 27th January in Karachi. The video shows Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja inviting PM Imran Khan to inaugurate the PSL. Raja is seen walking towards PM Imran Khan in slow motion with dramatic music in the background. Both, PM Imran Khan and Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja then walk in the corridor for the announcement.
“I’m opening the seventh PSL and I hope every team fights till the last ball and entertains the public,” said PM Imran Khan while pointing his finger to turn the screen into the HBL PSL’s green. PTI’s social media team shared the video on its Twitter account with the caption, “PM Imran Khan’s message on the PSL” and the hashtag #LevelHai.” The video appeared on Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Fans seem to have liked PM Imran Khan in a TikTok-style dramatic video on social media. Some said that while HBL PSL 7 anthem had disappointed them, they are amazed to see PM Imran Khan announced the opening of the Pakistan Super League.

A few hours later, Pakistan Super League, also shared the same video on its Twitter account. “Just a preview of what’s to come. Catch all the action starting from our curtain-raiser on 27th January at 6:30 PM. Kon araha hai stadium [Who is coming to the stadium],” said PSL in the tweet.
