PM Imran Khan praises India for foreign policy in a rare incident

Praise for the independent foreign policy of India comes when PM Khan's government is facing a tough situation against a no-confidence motion filed in the National Assembly by the opposition parties.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday praised the foreign policy of India in a rare instance while addressing a public rally in Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Praise for the independent foreign policy of India came when his government is facing a tough situation against a no-confidence motion filed in the National Assembly by the opposition parties to topple his government. PM Imran Khan is fighting hard to save his government amid the crisis of floor-crossing by the parliamentarians of the ruling party. As per the reports, the vote on the no-confidence motion will take place on March 25th, 2022 in the National Assembly of Pakistan.

In his speech, he said, “Main aaj Hindustan ko daad deta hun (I praise our neighbouring country Hindustan) as they always had an independent foreign policy. Today, India is in their (America) alliance and they are part of QUAD (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue); they say that they are neutral. They are importing oil from Russia despite sanctions because their policy is for the betterment of people.” His comments of praise for India have been echoing in India and Pakistan since yesterday.
