Prime Minister Imran Khan has been taking notice of such incidents and sharing them on his microblogging site to appreciate such bravery. In June, PM Imran showered praise on a head constable of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP), who returned to work only two days after an on-duty injury, resulting in a fracture to his arm. “I saw [what you did] and read about it… a lot of people also appreciated your effort,” he told the officer when they met.

Earlier, in April, the Prime Minister also made sure to raise the spirits of the law enforcement agencies for their “heroic stand” against extreme right-wing parties.
I want to pay special tribute to our police force for their heroic stand against organised violence intended to create chaos to blackmail govt. 4 policemen were martyred & over 600 injured. Our nation is indebted to these heroes & we will look after the families of the martyrs.
