PM Imran Khan is currently in Lahore for the pre-launch of the country’s largest humanitarian project, the Sehat Insaf Card. Initially launched in KP first, PM Khan is getting ready to launch the card in Punjab as well.
According to details, families with the Sehat Insaf card can avail free medical facilities of upto Rs 7,20,000 per person. The card will also provide transportation from resident to hospital and vice versa. Importantly, the card can be used in 300 government and private hospitals.free
The Sehat card would include free treatment of cancer, cardiac arrest and lung-related diseases, sugar, surgeries, and pregnancy-related operations.

Poor families struggle to pay medical bills. Therefore, the PTI government vowed to assist the population through this program. Owing to the massive success in KPK, PM Khan decided to launch the card in all of Pakistan.
The PTI government will distribute begin the process of distributing 40 million Sehat Insaf cards across 36 districts of Punjab from December 31st.

Sehat Insaf card: A game changer
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said the Sehat card will be a game-changer in Punjab. All 31.1m families of Punjab shall get the cards from Jan 1, 2022, in the largest health initiative in the country’s history.
She made the comments in a meeting held to review arrangements for the launching ceremony of the Naya Pakistan Sehat Cards. Adviser to Chief Minister on Information Hasaan Khawar also reviewed the arrangements.
Speaking on the occasion, the health minister said, “A proper strategy is being devised for the launching ceremony. This is the flagship program of Prime Minister Imran Khan.”
Additionally, she revealed that authorities added hundreds of beds to public and private sector hospitals for cardholders.
