PM Shehbaz Pledges Support to Armed Forces in Fight Against Terrorism

During a federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad today, he strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan and other regions that led to the martyrdom of innocent Pakistanis, including security personnel.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of his government and the Armed Forces of Pakistan to eradicate terrorism from the country.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the sacrifices made by the people and the Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism will not be in vain. He reiterated that the Armed Forces and the entire nation are dedicated to completely eliminating terrorism from Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif assured that all necessary resources would be provided to the Armed Forces to combat terrorism effectively. He stated that the government is open to dialogue with those who believe in Pakistan and its constitution, but no negotiations will be held with enemies and terrorists.

At least 38 people, including police and Levies personnel, were martyred in separate gun attacks in Balochistan’s Kalat, Musakhel, and Bolan districts. In Kalat district alone, eight people, including Balochistan Levies personnel, were martyred on Sunday night. According to Kalat Senior Superintendent of Police Dostin Dashti, the martyred included a police sub-inspector, four Levies personnel, and three civilians.
