PML-N rubbishes Tasneem Haider’s blame on Nawaz Sharif for Imran Khan attack, Arshad Sharif murder

While releasing a statement, PML-N leader and Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Tasneem Haider is not a party spokesperson and instead, declared him a "PTI organizer in London".

PML-N has rejected the claims made by Tasneem Haider Shah blaming its supreme leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the assassination attempt on PTI Chairman Imran Khan and the murder of Arshad Sharif.

While releasing a statement, PML-N leader and Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Tasneem Haider is not a party spokesperson and instead, declared him a “PTI organiser in London”. She asked him to produce evidence before the joint investigation team (JIT) to back them up.

“Tasneem Haider has no association with the PML-N. If he has any evidence, then he should present them before the JIT’s lawful forum,” the minister said insisting that attention cannot be diverted from the journalist’s “real murderers” through “fake news”.

Similarly, PML-N’s President in Britain Zubair Gul has also rejected the claims made by Shah.

“Tasneem Haider is not the PML-N’s spokesperson at all. We will drag him into Britain’s courts for his allegations. This drama has been plotted to divert attention from Arshad Sharif’s real killers,” Zubair Gul said.

Tasneem Haider Shah’s startling revelations

Sunday, Tasneem Haider Shah – who was claimed to be the spokesperson of PML-N – alleged that the assassination plots against PTI chief Imran Khan and slain senior journalist Arshad Sharif were prepared by PML-N in London.

While addressing a press conference in London, Tasneem Haider Shah claimed that he held three meetings with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif at Hussain Nawaz’s office in London.

“I am associated with the PML-N for the last 20 years. I was summoned for the meeting to prepare a plot to assassinate Imran Khan and Arshad Sharif,” Tasneem Shah said.

“I was told to eliminate Arshad Sharif and then Imran Khan before the appointment of the new army chief,” he said, adding that Nawaz Sharif had asked him to provide shooters. He further alleged that Sharif had also vowed to spot a place in Wazirabad and the Punjab government will be blamed for the assassination plot.

Tasneem Haider Shah also revealed that PML-N was also aware of the journalist’s location in Kenya and he was told that Arshad Sharif will be assassinated in Kenya.
