PML-N’s Tahir Anjum and PTI’s ‘Neeli Pari’ Exposed in Fake Drama

The staged altercation between PML-N's Tahir Anjum and PTI's Aneela Riaz reveals the extent of political deception, emphasizing the need for integrity and transparency in political activities.

What appeared to be a violent clash involving stage actor and PML-N member Tahir Anjum outside the Punjab Assembly has been exposed as a meticulously staged event. This incident, involving PTI activist Aneela Riaz and Tahir Anjum, was initially perceived as a spontaneous altercation but turned out to be a premeditated act for personal gains.

The altercation occurred on Wednesday when Anjum was reportedly passing by the PTI hunger strike camp outside the Punjab Assembly. According to the FIR, Anjum was assaulted by Aneela Riaz aka ‘Neeli Pari’, who allegedly tore his clothes. Following the incident, Lahore police arrested Riaz based on Anjum’s complaint. However, further investigation unveiled a different narrative.

Upon scrutiny, police discovered concrete evidence implicating both Riaz and Anjum in the fabrication of the incident. Mobile phone records revealed frequent contact between the two, and CCTV footage showed Riaz arriving at Anjum’s residence before the staged altercation. This evidence substantiated the theory that the event was orchestrated to elevate their positions within their respective parties.

Investigative Findings and Confessions

The investigation highlighted the ambitions of both individuals. Aneela Riaz aspired to secure a reserved PTI seat, while Tahir Anjum aimed to enhance his stature within the PML-N. Their collusion was further confirmed by CCTV footage, which captured their planning sessions at Anjum’s residence. Mobile records corroborated their frequent interactions, painting a clear picture of their coordinated effort.

Adding to the drama, before the official case filing, Anjum had expressed a willingness to forgive Riaz. This gesture, seen by many as an attempt to maintain a facade of spontaneity, was part of their calculated plan. Both parties eventually confessed to staging the incident, admitting their motives were to gain fame and influence within their political circles.

Law enforcement detailed that the incident was planned meticulously. On the day of the event, Riaz arrived at the Punjab Assembly in a rickshaw, further suggesting the premeditated nature of the incident. The subsequent arrest of Riaz brought the conspiracy to light, leading to her judicial remand ordered by a local court in Lahore.
