PMLN’s Vice President Maryam Nawaz says they do a positive criticism of the Pakistan Army, unlike opponent Imran Khan who does it for his own sake.
Maryam Nawaz defended herself while talking to the media outside Islamabad High Court. Maryam Nawaz said that PMLN criticized the army with positive intentions meanwhile Imran Khan is doing it for his own sake.
Maryam Nawaz has criticized Imran Khan and PTI leadership for passing negative statements against Pakistan Army and its leadership. She said that Imran Khan is trying to threaten and attack Pakistan Army.
“What are the right decisions in your opinion?” she asked. “Is it the decision to shut down the RTS system to help you win the election, remain silent on your catastrophic economic policies, or help you take revenge on your political rivals?

PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said the economy needs to be handled timely. He said the establishment and the army [before anyone else] will be destroyed if the establishment doesn’t take the right decisions.
In an interview with anchorperson Sami Ibrahim for Bol News program Tajzia, Khan said, “Pakistan is going towards bankruptcy. If that happens then which institution will be the worst hit? The army. And then what concession will be taken from us? Denuclearisation.”
The former Prime Minister said that if Pakistan were to lose its nuclear deterrent capability, as Ukraine did in the 1990s, it would be fragmented into three pieces. “If the right decisions aren’t made at this time then the country is going towards suicide,” he warned.
His statements blared the social and electronic media yesterday. To tackle the accusation of hurting the Pakistan Army, PTI has brought up anti-establishment remarks by PMLN leaders from time to time on social media.
Maryam Nawaz was also called out by netizens earlier for stoking anti-establishment sentiments on social media. Both sides have been attacking each other for hurting Pakistan Army.
