President Arif Alvi appreciated the Pakistani entertainment industry for producing good entertainment in the country. He watched latest Pakistani movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 and seems to be quite amazed by the quality and content of the movie.
Arif Alvi soon took to Twitter and lauded the movie in high words. He said I watched the movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani yesterday,” the President tweeted. “An excellent production. I am glad Pakistan cinema is catching up and creating good entertainment.”
One of the lead actor and protagonist of the movie Humayun Saeed instantly replied to the President’s tweet and thanked him for his appreciation.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 is a multi-starer movie and emerged as one of the biggest hit films of 2018 in Pakistan’s entertainment industry. The movie stars Mawra Hocane, Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhary, Sarwat Gillani and Uzma Gillani in lead roles.
The movie garnered Rs.2.99 crore at the opening day and this has been the greatest for any Pakistani film to date. The film also recorded the biggest international opening for any Pakistani film collecting ₨ 2.17 crore on its very first day. The film grossed Rs.500 million mark in the first week of its release.

The film was released alongside Nabeel Qureshi’s social satire Load Wedding and Haseeb Hassan’s Parwaz Hai Junoon- Pakistan’s first aerial combat Air Force movie.
The second edition has been ruling the silver screens since its release and has been clearly more successful than its prequel. The film script has been written by Vasay Chaudhry and directed by Nadeem Baig.

It is the joint production of Salman Iqbal Films, Humayun Saeed and Nasib’s Six Sigma Plus, and Jerjees Seja’s ARY Films. Pakistani entertainment industry is anticipated to soon be competing with other entertainment industries in the region.
