Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend the cheque distribution ceremony under the Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme of the Kamyab Jawan Program, launched by the incumbent government to uplift the youth and encourage prosperity.
The Premier will distribute cheques amongst the successful candidates who applied for soft loans to finance their small business enterprises at the cheque distribution ceremony, to be held in Islamabad today.

Officials from the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf said that the Kamyab Jawan Programme has received one million applications from young professionals and entrepreneurs across Pakistan.

An official, speaking to the media, said that the relevant authorities have been receiving 80,000 to 100,000 applications on a daily basis, which indicates that the program has been highly successful at engaging the youth of the country.
The official added that the authorities have allocated funds worth Rs.100 billion to finance the initiative, and facilitate one million youth across Pakistan. Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs, observed that the program was initiated with the agenda of encouraging entrepreneurship amongst the youth and giving birth to employment opportunities.

Expressing his confidence in the success of the team, Dar said that it would prove to be monumental in engaging the youth and presenting them with more opportunities. He said that the program has proven to be very distinctive than other ventures, and around 200,000 females have also applied for the loan under the entrepreneurial scheme.

Under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Kamyab Jawan – Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES), men, women, and transgenders, between the ages of 21 and 45, can apply for low-cost business loans, up to Rs.5,000,000. These loans can be used for setting up a new business or expanding a current business. For IT and E-commerce businesses, the lower age limit is 18 years.
All eligible NIC holders can apply for the loan by visiting the online portal of the program, or the nearest branches of the National Bank of Pakistan, the Bank of Punjab and the Bank of Khyber. This loan is qualified for small enterprises and businesses.
