Priyanka Chopra sent out a sweet wish for Meghan Markle on her engagement with Prince Harry. She recently posted a photo of the couple on her Instagram account with a warm message of love for the bride-to-be Meghan Markle.
In her post, she wrote, “Congratulations to my girl (Meghan Markle) and Prince Harry!! I’m so happy for you Meg! You deserve the best always..keep smiling that infectious smile.”
Kensington Palace recently announced the couple was engaged in London earlier this month and will be married in the Spring of 2018.
Many online publications have said that Priyanka Chopra could be among the potential bridesmaids.

Priyanka met Meghan at a party in Toronto two years ago. After Meghan interviewed her for her blog, The Tig, they both became friends. Priyanka has often publicized photos of them together- including one where they drank cocktails together at a bar in Los Angeles.
Priyanka Chopra’s admiration and love for her friend is a public affair. In her recent interview, she did not shy away to stress her friend’s individual identity when introduced as Prince Harry’s girlfriend.
In May, Priyanka Chopra appeared on Wendy’s show where she was asked about Meghan Markle’s relationship with Prince Harry.
“You’re friends with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s girlfriend,” Wendy said.
But her question was punctuated immediately as Priyanka interjected, highlighting Meghan’s individuality.
“Also Meghan Markle… you know, an actress in Suits, her own achievements. Just saying,” Priyanka said authoritatively.
Exactly, Priyanka. This is what we are trying to explain here. “Okay, I understand that,” Wendy replied before proceeding with her question about Meghan and Prince Harry’s marriage.
“Do you think they’ll get married,” asked Wendy while Priyanka said: “I hope so. She seems happy. I think they look great together.”

She was also asked about whether she will serve as Meghan’s bridesmaid, to which she replied, “I don’t know if I’m that close to her. I have known her two years now. We randomly met at a party and got on really well. So once I get the invite, I don’t know… If I’m even invited.”
