Former England captain, Michael Vaughan, calls HBL PSL the second-best cricket league in the world. In his latest tweet on Tuesday, he called Pakistan Super League one of the best cricketing leagues in the world.
He is in awe of the standard of cricket displayed in the Pakistan Super League. “Pakistan Super League is the 2nd best T20 Tournament in the World. It’s not far off the IPL either, the outstanding standard of cricket,” Michael Vaughan tweeted.
A total of 48 international players have joined the HBL PSL. 24 players have joined from England.

“The quality of the tactics on display in this #PSL game has been immense. Execution has varied, and not everything has come off, but it feels like grown-up teams playing each other and making informed decisions. Proper cricket,” tweeted Ben Jones, a cricket analyst.
English cricketer, Alex Hales has been participating consecutively in the HBL Pakistan Super League. In his latest interview with a local media outlet disapproved of the decision of England to pull out from a tour of Pakistan.
“That decision to cancel that tour made absolutely no sense,” Hales told Geo TV. “Especially after Pakistan came to England during Covid and helped out the ECB massively. So for them to cancel that tour made absolutely zero sense to me.”It was only a short tour, only a few T20s so it made no sense.”

Hales is playing the fifth consecutive season of PSL in Pakistan and certainly has more experience of playing in Pakistan than other English cricketers.
“I’ve been here four or five times now and get looked after really well,” Hales said. “Every time we come here, the people are very hospitable and cricket is always really good. The fans here are crazy for it. So, it’s a great place to come and play cricket, I feel safe,” he added further.
