Pakistani actress Mahira Khan posted a warm message on Twitter to welcome all the international stars who reached Pakistan for the remaining Pakistan Super League 4 matches.
On Thursday, Mahira Khan shared a picture of Karachi’s busiest road Shahrah-e-Faisal adorned with bright colorful lights and vivid flower arrangements in a bid to give a warm reception to the foreign players who came to Karachi, Pakistan.

“So happy to welcome all the international cricketers to my city Karachi. Can’t wait to watch cricket on Pakistani grounds. Let the games begin! #HBLPSL#CricketComesHome,” she captioned the picture.

Several international players including Darren Sammy, Shane Watson, Luke Ronchi, Cameron Delport, DJ Bravo, Sandeep Lamichhane, Rilee Rossouw, and Phillip Salt reached Pakistan to play the matches.
Lahore Qalandar’s AB de Villiers will not be attending the matches scheduled in Pakistan due to injury.
Eight matches of the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League were planned to be played in Lahore and Karachi. Now, Karachi will be hosting the matches that were ought to be played in Lahore after recent border violations on LoC, Kashmir by India and Pakistan. Due to the security threats, Lahore will not be hosting any PSL matches this year.

On the other hands, wife of Pakistan’s former skipper Shaniera Akram also took to Twitter and thanked the international players for trusting and coming to Pakistan. She further stated that it will be a great effort in showing a peaceful image of Pakistan to the world.

Former Australian player, Shane Watson expressed his excitement for landing in Pakistan after fourteen years. He further stated that he is determined to bring the ‘trophy home’.
