PTI condemns indecent audio attributed to Imran Khan

An indecent audio clip attributed to Imran Khan was shared on social media where it was suggested that Imran Khan was talking to a woman over the phone.

PTI has condemned the indecent audio being attributed to PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. PTI claims the alleged audio is another attempt to malign Imran Khan.

Earlier, an indecent audio clip attributed to Imran Khan was shared on social media where it was suggested that Imran Khan was talking to a woman over the phone.

The salacious comments made in the purported audio suggested that it was recorded from the phone. The wider public opinion is that the audio clip is fake, however, it has still caused a storm on social media as it is being considered as another attempt to malign the PTI leader. PTI leaders have accused the incumbent government for being responsible for the fake audio.

“When the alleged video of Pervez Rasheed and Maryam was leaked, we strongly condemned it and called it a despicable act. But now fake audios of Imran Khan are being made and spread They are sitting in the federal government so shamelessly that they don’t even have respect for their own leader and are throwing mud on Imran Khan,” PTI’s Azhar Mashwani tweeted.

Punjab’s Minister of Information Technology Dr Arsalan Khalid also condemned the audio. Although Arsalan Khalid did not name anyone, he seemed to suggest that a PML-N leader sitting abroad was behind the alleged audio leak.

“The thoughts of their coach sitting outside cannot go beyond fake audio/videos. The economy is destroyed, the industry is taking its last breath, unemployment is increasing day by day and their hobby of fake audios is not going away. With every blow of yours, the people’s faith in the captain is strengthened and they are all united behind one person,” Dr Arsalan Khalid said.

Members of the journalistic community have also condemned the fake audio leak, claiming that the spread of such obscene audio serves no purpose, but distracts from the real problems of the country, for instance, the economy.
