Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi, has urged the public to support PM Khan. Currently, the political temperature is rising against the premier.
In a series of hard-hitting tweets, the Minister said there is an international conspiracy for a regime change in Pakistan. The PTI side has often claimed that Western powers are conspiring against PM Khan since he refuses to appease them.
“Ever since PM Khan took office, external forces were unhappy to see an independent, democratic, Islamic values-thinker leading Pakistan, instilling self-pride and not bowing to outside interference,” the Minister tweeted.
“Now we see an international conspiracy for a regime change in Pakistan!” he added.

Furthermore, the Minister said that the involvement of external forces to change an elected government threatens democracy. Not holding back, the Minister lashed out at the Opposition, accusing it of trying to protect its “ill-gotten wealth”. Needless to say, the Opposition has certainly caused quite the political chaos in Pakistan by setting the no-trust vote in motion.
The involvement of external forces to change an elected govt through nefarious means is a major threat to our democracy & national security.
Opposition is acting as a bunch of willing pawns in this despicable game to save their ill-gotten wealth at the cost of our sovereignty— Ali Haider Zaidi (@AliHZaidiPTI) March 31, 2022
Praising PM Khan as a non-conformist leader, Minister Zaidi warned that the public will remember the people who sold out Pakistan.
“The nation will remember these people and their aiders and abettors who sold out our country to outsiders for power, greed and the spite for one man,” the Minister tweeted.
“PM Imran Khan has rocked the foundations of the corrupt status quo in Pakistan,” he further added.
Sadly, our status quo is unable to digest a confident & nonconformist leader struggling to make Pakistan a sovereign, prosperous & progressive state…not a colony of external forces.

Minister Zaidi’s strong message!
Important to note, Federal Minister Ali Zaidi does not shy away from making strong statements on Twitter. On this note, he said if the Opposition succeeds then it will set a precedent for countries to dislodge other future prime ministers.
“If the Opposition along with external forces succeed in their plan to change the regime, what stops another country from throwing money to dislodge another PM just because they might not like his face or views?”

Needless to say, the idea of an international conspiracy against PM Khan further gained momentum when the premier claimed he received a threatening letter from western countries.
“A civilized country cannot run like this,” the Minister tweeted. Lastly, the minister urged people to stand on the right side of history.
A civilized country cannot run like this.
Do you want your future generations to remain slaves to dynastic politics & outside interference & interests?
My humble advice to all those involved:
Stand up & be counted on the right side of history!
