PTI leader and Punjab Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak quits from the post after a heated exchange with Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at the cabinet meeting.
According to the details in the media, during Friday’s cabinet meeting of Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi with provincial ministers, Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak reportedly engaged in a war of words with Parvez Elahi after he cut in on his conversation at the meeting.
Several ministers were trying to express their views but the Chief Minister refused to listen and suggested that there should be one person talking at a time. However, his call for the following discipline was ignored and Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak started speaking again. At a point, the minister rose to his seat and left the meeting midway out of anger.

When PTI leader Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak was interrupted by Chief Minister Parvez Elahi again, he quits the position in a protest. The PTI lawmaker has also sent his resignation for approval.

Currently, PML-Q and PTI are at odds regarding the dissolution of assemblies. PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan wants Punjab and KPK assemblies dissolved in a bid for early elections. He will announce the date for the dissolution of assemblies today at his power show in Liberty Chowk Lahore.
On the other hand, Parvez Elahi has opposed dissolving the assembly. He has suggested Imran Khan avoid haste in dissolving the assemblies as this would cause complications, and that the matter should be revisited later.

PML-Q leader and son of Parvez Elahi Moonis Elahi also met Imran Khan. He told the PTI leader that the PDM-led government can victimize the PTI and PML-Q leadership if the assemblies are dissolved.
