“The Governor of Punjab is playing the role of a puppet and someone else is pulling the strings of the unconstitutional move. The elected Chief Minister of Pakistan’s largest province of 12 crore population cannot be unconstitutionally removed,” Farrukh Habib said.

“The notification of Governor Punjab has no legal status. Governor, don’t waste official paper and ink. The Chief Minister and the Cabinet are still in their positions,” Hammad Azhar said.

“Last night has been made perfect by those who make it perfect. The Governor of Punjab had told the CM to take a vote of confidence. The vote of confidence was to be conducted by the Speaker Punjab Assembly. In their panic, PML-N and PDM are doing stupid things,” PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi said.
