PTI is considering Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar’s decision of parting ways with PPP as welcoming news. PTI leaders have expressed their praise for the decision.
Earlier, after resigning as a senator, senior politician Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar announced to quit PPP. While giving an interview with a private media channel, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar said that he had hinted at leaving the PPP after tendering his resignation from Senate. He confirmed that he is going to part ways with PPP.
Reacting to Mustafa Nawaz Khokar’s announcement, PTI leaders Shireen Mazari and Fawad Chaudhry have appreciated the decision.
“Respect for Mustafa Nawaz Khokar. Have always appreciated his support for human rights beyond party lines. Now he explains how Vote of No Confidence was done – the regime change conspiracy once again exposed,” Shireen Mazari tweeted.

During the interview, Mustafa Nawaz Khokar revealed that differences arose between him and the PPP leadership over his stance on the government’s policies.
“I wish the best for Peoples Party. I feel honored to serve as a member of the party, but I am no longer its part anymore,” Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar said.
“I am as much part of PPP as Miftah Ismail is of the PML-N. Let’s see where I head next from here,” the former senator said. Earlier, PML-N leader Miftah Ismail resigned as Finance Minister.
Shortly after his resignation from PPP, speculations have risen on social media that Mustafa Nawaz Khokar may join PTI. Similar speculations also arose when he resigned as a senator. However, at that time, Mustafa Nawaz Khokar said that he will not join any political party.
