PTI’s Naeem Panjutha, PMLN’s Ikhtiar Wali engage in physical fight

Video of the Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem Haider Panjutha and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PMLN) Ikhtiar Wali assaulting each other during a live show has gone viral on social media.

The argument between the two leaders on a live television show soon turned into a full-blown fight. The argument started when they both called out each other’s leader. Losing their patience, both started hitting each other.

The show host kept requesting them to stop, however, later production team had to intervene to cease the fight. During the fight, both the leaders hit each other with punches and kicks.

Following the fight, Naeem Haider Panjutha, in his tweet said: “If you abuse Khan, I will abuse your entire family.”

Panjutha said that Ikhtiar Wali started abusing Imran Khan first. Hence, he targeted the party leader Maryam Nawaz in response to his provocations. Imran Khan’s legal counsel also asserted that Ikhtiar Wali started off with physical assault.

Earlier, Sher Afzal Marwat and Dr. Afnanullah went into a physical fight during the show. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

It all began with Afnan Ullah Khan abusing Imran Khan, calling him a ‘bootlicker’ who was working against the interests of Pakistan. The senator also accused the former PM of holding talks with the military, and soon it devolved into personal attacks against each other and their families.

In front of the host, the audience, and the crew, Marwat got up and hit the senator’s head. But Afnan retaliated by pushing and punching Marwat.  The clip showed crew members trying to break the fight.

Soon after the incident, Afnan Ullah posted a video saying that as ‘Nawaz Sharif’s soldier’ he practices non-violence, but the slap was an important lesson for Imran Khan’s supporters.
