Maryam Nawaz is attempting to introduce the latest cancer medical treatment from China in Punjab. With the latest technology, cancer treatment will be made possible without surgery and chemotherapy. The latest machinery will be introduced at the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital with the help of China.
The chief minister, who is on a visit to China, discussed matters pertaining to cancer treatment with the Hygea Medical Technologies President Dr Liu Fuliang. The company is famed at the international level for having expertise in the latest cancer treatment and machinery.
Fuliang and his team gave a briefing about interventional oncology treatment methods and equipment. He highlighted treatment modes through tumor freeze and heat. He said 10,000 cancer patients had undergone treatment and fully recovered through the Hygea advanced medical treatment method. The method has been introduced in more than 100 hospitals in 25 provinces of China.
During her visit to Hygea Medical Technology Company, the chief minister said, “I want to make the healthcare system of Punjab efficient and patient-friendly by employing modern technology.”

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz reached Beijing, China on Monday on an eight-day visit. The Directorate General of Public Relations of the provincial government said in a press release.
The official engagements of the chief minister in China would commence on Monday (today), the press release said, adding that during the visit, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz would pay visit to hospitals, schools, and other institutions.
Azma Bokhari, Pervez Rasheed, and Marriyum Aurangzeb are part of the delegation visiting China. “Six senior officials of the Communist Party of China were present at the airport to warmly welcome her. Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi and his wife also welcomed her at the airport. A high-level delegation of the Communist Party of China called on CM Punjab,” the press release said.
