Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi appoints motivational speaker and YouTuber Qasim Ali Shah as the Chairman Board of Governors Al Hamra Arts Council, Lahore.
Shah shared his picture allegedly from the office on his Twitter account. The news of his appointment is making rounds on social media. “Joined Alhumra Arts Council as Chairman Alhumdulilah,” wrote Qasim Ali Shah in his tweet. Several netizens pointed out that he has written the wrong spelling of Al Hamra in his tweet.
A few days back anchorperson and journalist Alina Shigri in her tweet said that according to reports she has heard Qasim Ali Shah has asked for the position in Al Hamra. “Heard in your meeting with PM Shehbaz you demanded to be Chairman Alhamra and is now being given to you?,” said Shigri in her tweet.

Last month, he was subjected to criticism on social media after the video of the interview with Imran Khan went viral.

Pakistani netizens called out Qasim Ali Shah after he passed some negative comments against Imran Khan after conducting his interview. He said he found him rude and arrogant. Shah went on a series of interviews with other senior politicians like former CM Punjab Pervez Ilahi. While interviewing CM Ilahi, Shah commented on the personal life of Imran Khan and his three marriages. He said the person who can’t handle and protect his home and family, how will run and protect a country.

His statements turned out to be explosive for the supporters of Imran Khan. They called him out for maligning Imran Khan.
People have now started ranking his foundation Qasim Ali Shah Foundation’s low star on Google play which has dropped the rankings of his foundations to one.
In his first interview with Imran Khan, he asked if PTI Chairman will give him a ticket to fight the next general elections. Imran Khan responded positively to his request and asked him from which constituency he would like to contest the elections.
