Currently, the political situation is once again tense as the government is planning to arrest Imran Khan. While PTI warns of violent consequences for arresting Imran Khan, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah believes that there will be no reaction.
Rana Sanaullah, in an interview for a private media channel, was asked about the political unrest in Pakistan and how Imran Khan’s arrest would exacerbate the situation. However, Rana Sanaullah said that nothing will happen. He then recalled a PTI MNA’s statement who threatened to carry out a ‘suicide attack’ if Imran Khan gets arrested.

“I’ll be the first suicide bomber,” MNA Attaullah advocate had said in a video message, threatening the incumbent rulers with extreme consequences if they “even touched a hair on Imran Khan’s head”. While referring to this, Rana Sanaullah said he will first arrest the MNAs first. He said the MNAs will not take any drastic steps.
“These people will not even let their finger get injured, let alone carry out a suicide attack,” Rana Sanaullah said. Moreover, he said PTI is bluffing when it warns of a “bloody long march” and that people will set themselves on fire if Imran Khan gets arrested.
“There will be no reaction,” Rana Sanaullah said.

Rana Sanaullah is all set to arrest Imran Khan. Taking to Twitter, Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan has been nominated in over two dozen cases including rioting, sedition, chaos, and armed attacks on the federation. Once the PTI Chairman’s protective bail ends, Rana Sanaullah will arrest Imran Khan.
On the other hand, PTI leaders and supporters have warned of severe consequences and protests if Imran Khan gets arrested.
Imran Khan will not back down
The former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said that come what may his party’s movement for “real freedom” would not stop until the coalition government led by PML-N announced the date of early elections.
“Come what may this movement for real freedom will not stop till the announcement of early elections,” Imran Khan said.
Moreover, the PTI chairman asked his supporters to brace themselves up for any situation if he got arrested on ‘fake’ first information reports (FIRs). He said the government wanted to arrest him in order to break the momentum of the ongoing movement against it.
