Sehat Sahulat Program is a milestone towards social welfare reforms; ensuring that the identified under-privileged citizens across the country get access to their entitled medical health care in a swift and dignified manner without any financial obligations.
Moreover, initiative taken by the former government of PTI in form of Ehsaas program has been recognized by the World Bank as among the top four social protection interventions globally in terms of number of people covered.
Farrukh Habib, the PTI’s central communications secretary, told journalists following the meeting that problems concerning the country’s political environment and future course of action were thoroughly reviewed.
He stated that Khan was deeply concerned about the rank and file, therefore he urged the provincial government to promptly resume public welfare projects in order to alleviate sufferings of the people.
Habib stated that the “imported regime” ruined all state institutions and put the Punjab health card on hold, which will be reinstated immediately.
He stated that the Supreme Court of Pakistan issued a landmark decision to recognize the public mandate in Punjab, and that the coalition government faced political failure.
He went on to declare that Asif Ali Zardari of the PPP was the new PML-N leader because the party was constantly humiliated and disgraced as a result of his advice. Earlier in the day, Imran Khan had a visit from recently sworn-in Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at his Bani Gala residence.
