Pakistani actress Saba Qamar trends on social media following the leaked videos of JUI-F member, Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman sexually abusing a madrassa student.
According to social media users, Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman was among the clerics who had slammed her after a video of her twirling in Masjid Wazir Khan in Lahore during a shoot of a song went viral on social media.
Qamar posted an Islamic verse in a cryptic tweet. In another tweet, she wrote: “Allah”. A score of social media users recalled that how a group of clerics had viciously campaigned against her following her video.

A large number of netizens voiced solidarity with her and slammed the cleric for hurting the sanctity of the mosque through his indecent act. However, the tweets of Saba Qamar have stirred another debate on social media where groups posted Islamic principles and argued that both are sinners except that they are sinning differently. Hence, Saba Qamar should not rejoice in the viral video of the Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman.
The accused Mufti has himself released a statement calling the incident a conspiracy against him and his character. He said that he hasn’t committed any act in his consciousness.

According to him the survivor had drugged him and made him do the absurd act after which he wasn’t able to attain consciousness.
The Mufti said that it can be seen that the boy “disguised” as a victim had made the video of the incident act himself. He said that if he was conscious he wouldn’t have let him make a video that could damage his career.

Back in August last year, the controversial video circulated on social media showed Saba Qamar Zaman twirling with Bilal Saeed in the video during the shoot of their song Qubool Hai. The singer, however, had denied the speculations of dancing in the mosque during the shoot of the mosque.
