Pakistani actress Sajal Aly called for the respect of the mandate of the people in the elections. Sajal Aly in her several social media posts is condemning the alleged manipulation with the results going on.
The actress took to IG story and said in Urdu, “There have been many changes since the night till now.” She also shared the song of singer Shehzad Roy ‘Laga Reh’. Tagging Shehzad Roy she said, “Your concern was accurate. Sad.”
In another Instagram post, the actress, however, said: “However, the good news is that today, the entire nation is concerned about the nation. Keep at it!.” Perhaps she appreciated the higher voter turnout in the General Elections 2024.
Several celebrities are calling the irregularities being reported on media during elections. Meanwhile, PTI-backed candidates, who have lost, have started challenging decisions in courts and election tribunals countrywide.

PTI claims to have secured 180 seats in the National Assembly. They claim to make to the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Center. The former ruling party has called for a meeting to discuss potential alliances with other political factions.
Scheduled to attend the meeting are PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan, Asad Qaiser, Ali Muhammad Khan, and other key members. The agenda includes deliberations on forming new central and provincial governments, as announced by PTI.
In a statement on Friday, PTI stated its capability to secure a government at the center and dismissed the possibility of collaborating with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
“We have not engaged in any dialogue with PPP or PML-N,” stated Barrister Gohar to Geo News. He asserted PTI’s projection to win around 150 National Assembly seats, sufficient to establish a government at the center.
“We have no intention of forming a coalition with PPP and PML-N,” emphasized Barrister Gohar Ali Khan. “Our focus is on forming governments at the Centre and in Punjab,” he further stated.
