Actor Sajid Hasan is facing backlash after video of him supporting his son Sahir Hasan has gone viral on social media. His son has been arrested on allegations of supplying drugs in Mustafa Amir murder case.
The arrest occurred while investigating the murder case of Mustafa Aamir. Police discovered that the prime suspect, Armaghan Qureshi, had allegedly obtained drugs from Sahir Hasan.
Hasan is not directly linked to the murder of Mustafa Aamir. Authorities had filed a case of drug supply on him and put him on a one-day remand.
In the viral footage, Sajid Hasan can be seen acquiring the bail for his Sahir Hasan. He also thanked the police officers assisting the process of bail. He is also seem extending support to his son.

According to the investigators, Sahir has been supplying drugs in affluent areas of Karachi for the past two years. Both Mustafa Amir and Armaghan were the clients of Sahir Hasan. Police claims to have recovered narcotics worth Rs 50 million from his possession.
The video soon went viral on social media after which the actor received strong criticism.
“They are posing in the middle of a criminal proceeding? He seems to be a proud father, and the son seems to be proud of whatever he has done,” said an upset social media user.
Another expressed concern that Sahir might evade justice due to his father’s influence, saying, “I hope he is punished. I think he will be released because of the support he will get from officials.”
A third user criticized Sajid Hasan’s parenting, stating, “Instead of encouraging him, you should be ashamed that you are not able to train your children well.”
The actor has not yet responded to the backlash nor has he reacted to his son’s arrest. As per media reports, Sahir Hasan got married two months ago.
