This friend, who maintains business ties in India, had an incidental encounter with Salman Khan while staying at his business partner’s residence in Mumbai.
During their meeting, Khan surprised his guest by inquiring, “Do you know Maulana Tariq Jameel?” Intrigued, Jameel’s friend asked how Khan had become acquainted with the Islamic scholar. To everyone’s surprise, Khan proceeded to show his collection of CDs containing Jameel’s speeches.

In response, Jameel explained that due to his constant travels and commitments, it would have been unjust to his second spouse if he couldn’t provide her with the same amount of time as his first wife.
