Salman Khan requests fans to support family of Sushant Singh amid backlash

Indian singer Sona Mohapatra slammed Salman Khan. In her tweet, she said the concern of Salman Khan for Sushant Singh Rajput is a pretence.

Salman Khan has requested fans to support the friends and family of Sushant Singh Rajput despite the backlash. He is among the score of Bollywood celebrities to receive backlash on social media in the past few days as the death of the actor triggered a debate around nepotism in Bollywood.

Salman Khan trended several times in the past week. The fans of Sushant Singh Rajput railed against him on social media. But despite a severe diatribe, Salman Khan asked fans to continue to support the family of Sushant Singh in this tough time. He urged his fans not to get affected by slurs and smear campaign against him on social media.

Salman Khan wrote on Twitter, “A request to all my fans to stand with Sushant’s fans and not to go by the language and the curses used but to go with the emotion behind it. Please support and stand by his family and fans as the loss of a loved one is extremely painful.”

The fans of Sushant Singh Rajput slammed Salman Khan for promoting clique drive culture in Bollywood and preferring only star kids in the industry. He was accused of conspiring against Sushant or supporting his conspirators.

Salman Khan slammed for fake concern for Sushant Singh

Indian singer Sona Mohapatra slammed Salman Khan. In her tweet, she said the concern of Salman Khan for Sushant Singh Rajput is a pretence.

“A ‘large-hearted’ PR move from the one & only poster boy of toxic masculinity! Of course, he felt no such need to tweet or apologize for the vile threats that his digital paid army sent out to intimidate & bully others in the past. Got his dad to speak every time he screwed up,” Sona wrote on Twitter.

She has often called out Salman Khan and his fans on social media. The singer claimed she received threats from the fans of Salman Khan after she supported Priyanka Chopra for walking out of his film, Bharat.

The death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has stirred up mayhem in the film industry. A score of bigwigs of the film industry and star kids came under fire on Twitter as social media questioned the merits of such star kids working in Bollywood.

Also, they slammed them for sidelining and disdaining Sushant Singh persistently that mounted depression in the actor. Hence, uncontrollable despair and pain forced the actor to take an extreme step.

Dabang director accused Salman Khan

Dabang director, Abhinav Kashyap accused Salman Khan of sabotaging his career in the film industry.

In a lengthy Facebook post, Abhinav Kashyap explained how the family of Salman Khan and his brothers used their influence to ruin his career. He stated the reason why he did not direct a sequel of the blockbuster movie, Dabangg.

Abhinav Kashyap made shocking assertions about Salman Khan. Kashyap also exposed the links of the family of Salman Khan with the underworld. He said they used these links to intimidate people. He said Salman Khan and his family consistently sabotaged his projects. Even intimated female members of his family with rape threats. He eventually got divorced and his family broke up in 2017.

Abhinav Kashyap exposed the ugly facet of Bollywood in his post. He says Bollywood is not a pure entertainment industry but is fraught with malicious agendas of the influential celebrities who bully and even tarnish the careers of budding artists in the industry. Kashyap said influential celebrities like Salman Khan use their political connections, bullying, and even harassment to take control of the careers of new entrants in the industry.

Also, he said the deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput faced similar harrowing circumstances that forced him to give up on his life.
