Samsung leaps into the forefront of AI PCs with its Galaxy Book 4 Edge series, boasting Copilot+ by Microsoft. With over 40 TOPS of computing power, it's equipped to handle local AI tasks, while also tapping into cloud-based AI, just like its competitors.

Samsung has enriched the offering with its array of Galaxy AI features. Additionally, these laptops stand among the pioneers, powered by Snapdragon X Elite, competing neck and neck with Apple’s M3 in terms of performance.

Specs Spotlight: Unveiling the Tech Magic

The model offers 14″ and 16″ sizes, each with similar battery capacities: 55.9Wh for the 14″ version and 61.8Wh for the 16″ one, promising all-day battery life. Weighing 1.6kg and 1.55kg respectively, they provide options for various needs.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge introduces Copilot+ and Galaxy AI features alongside the Snapdragon X Elite. Both models feature an AMOLED screen boasting a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800px and a rapid 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of up to 500 nits and an anti-reflective coating, it’s optimized for sunlight visibility. Furthermore, it delivers vibrant colors with an impressive 120% DCI-P3 coverage.

While both laptops are equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite chip, their performances differ. The larger laptop boasts an overlocked CPU, faster boost core speeds, and a more powerful GPU. Nonetheless, all Elite models feature a 10-core CPU, 42MB total cache, identical RAM speed, and NPU performance at 45 TOPS, making them eligible for Copilot+.

Regarding memory, the laptop offers 16 GB of onboard RAM, with storage options ranging from 512GB to 1 TB. A 65W USB C adapter facilitates charging, while port options include a USB 3.2N port, 2USB 4.0  ports, an HDMI 4.1, and a microphone combo jack.

Equipped with advanced AI functionalities akin to the latest Microsoft Surface devices, these laptops boast features like Recall, a memory enhancement tool tailored for the forgetful. Whether it’s a webpage, document, or any elusive file, simply prompt the PC with what you seek, and it swiftly retrieves it for you.

Samsung has integrated its proprietary Galaxy AI capabilities, including Live Captions, Live Translations, Circle to Search, and a host of others, into these devices. These functionalities, also present on Samsung Galaxy smartphones, can be conveniently accessed via the newly added dedicated AI button.
