The FCC has certified Samsung’s latest foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and its first smart ring, the Galaxy Ring. The listing reveals their battery sizes.
The Flip 6 will include two batteries, one on each side, with a total capacity of 3,790 mAh. This might be marketed as 3,800, 3,850, or even 3,900 mAh typical capacity. Regardless of the final figure, it will be an upgrade from the Flip 5’s 3,700 mAh, though not a substantial one.

The UL Demko certification platform has disclosed that this battery will support Samsung’s standard 25W fast charging speeds. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing indicates that the flip phone will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, as anticipated. It will also feature 8 GB of RAM and a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture.
Galaxy Ring
The Galaxy Ring will come in 8 sizes, ranging from 5 to 12. Sizes 5, 6, and 7 will feature a 17 mAh battery, while sizes up to 11 will have a slightly larger 18.5 mAh battery. The largest size, 12, will include a 22.5 mAh battery. Additionally, the ring will support Bluetooth 5.4 and Bluetooth LE.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Ring are anticipated to launch by the end of July this year, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have two additional variants, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim and Ultra, though these are expected to debut in early 2025. As the names imply, the Slim version will be thinner, while the Ultra model will feature top-tier specifications.
