We are all aware of Samsung’s decision to abandon its Note line in favor of foldable phones. In addition to a customized S Pen, an under-display camera, increased robustness, a water-resistant design, and a $200 price reduction over its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was introduced last year.
Even after all the upgrades it delivered, it’s still among the best foldable phones available because it offers the longest software updates on the market. But after a year, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is almost due as a replacement.

What’s new this time?
Samsung is expected to announce new foldable phones through its Galaxy Unpacked event next month. The new generation will include the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, both of which have already leaked extensively.
Now the popular tipster Evan Blass has shared new details for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 spotted in a list of SKUs for the device. According to the list, Galaxy Z Fold 4 will introduce a new Beige color option, which confirms an older report. The Green color option is staying and so is the Burgundy Red. Phantom Black will also live on for another year.

The last two Galaxy Z Fold phones were announced in the month of August. While the Galaxy Z Fold 2 finally hit stores in September, the Z Fold 3 was stacked on shelves a little earlier, at the end of August last year. We expect the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 release date to follow a similar cycle.
One rumor from YouTuber and leaker Jon Prosser points to an August 10 reveal with pre-orders going live on the same day. He further claims that the phone will go on sale from August 26. You should take this with a pinch of salt, but an August event certainly seems like a given at the very least. You should also expect the Galaxy Z Flip 4 to debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
