Samsung XCover6 Pro: The first unbreakable smartphone?

What are the specs of Samsung's first rugged phone? The most astonishing is its camera of 50MP.

Samsung has unveiled its first 5G-ready rugged smartphone. The new Galaxy XCover6 Pro from Samsung is the first rugged smartphone to support 5G. An FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate are listed as the primary display on the XCover6 Pro’s 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen.

The improved touch sensitivity of the XCover6 Pro’s display makes it possible to use the device with gloves on and wet hands. Additionally, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, the company’s most recent iteration, protects the monitor from scratches.

MIL-810H and IP68 water and dust resistance are standard for XCover phones.

The phone is large and heavy, weighing in at 235 grammes and measuring in at 168.8×79.9×9.9 millimetres.

Wi-Fi 6E and 5G are also supported by XCover6 Pro. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G CPU, 6GB of RAM, and a microSD card slot with a capacity of 128GB.

The device is equipped with a 4,050 mAh battery, which is concealed under a plastic back panel that can be removed for quick battery replacements. There are two pogo pins on the bottom of the phone that can be used to connect proprietary accessories, which can be charged up to 15W using the included connection.

The phone comes with only a USB-C cable; there is no accompanying wall charger. A customisable push-to-talk button is another standout feature of XCover6 Pro.
