PTI government’s move of advertising the Ehsaas Sehat Card at HBL PSL 7, Friday, is gaining mixed reactions on Twitter. Many netizens have appreciated the marketing strategy, while others criticized it.
Thursday, the seventh edition of HBL PSL officially kicked off at the iconic National Stadium in Karachi. The defending champions Multan Sultans faced off 2020 champions Karachi Kings following a curtain-raiser opening ceremony. On Friday, the second match of HBL PSL took place where Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi locked horns with the latter emerging victorious.
During the match, the sports commentator gave a brief overview of the Ehsaas Sehat card and also appreciated the scheme. However, the promotion sparked criticism.
Netizens claimed that the Sehat card has nothing to do with HBL PSL 7. The PTI government is over projecting the card. Some netizens even claimed that promoting Sehat card in Karachi was not a wise move since the scheme has not been introduced in Karachi.

On the other hand, the PML-N camp once again took to Twitter to accuse PTI of involving politics in HBL PSL 7.
Reacting to the criticism, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shabaz Gill made a dig at the critics.
“Some people are getting hurt because of it,” he tweeted while sharing the image of Sehat card at HBL PSL. “Share it as much as possible so that they continue to suffer,” he added.

Agreed, extremely poor strategy of “Spokesmen “ , has no link to advertise Sehat card in PSL. PTI over projecting health card which has not adequate funds behind. Where is resource allocation for the insurance?

A revolutionary marketing strategy?
Meanwhile, many lauded the move. Netizens appreciated the commentator for explaining the Sehat Card. According to them, the Sehat Card is an important initiative that should be aggressively promoted so more people can know about it and avail of it.
“Marketing mileage for sehat card across all channels,” one twitter user wrote.

Sehat Insaf Card advertised during PSL when millions of eyeballs are watching. This should be appreciated. My Sir just yesterday had the operation of his Mother-in-law worth Rs 3 lacs for free from Sehat Card.
