Shah Mehmood Qureshi praises Christian girl Rabil Kennedy on her success in CSS

“The success of daughters like Rabel Kennedy on basis of their hard work and selection for foreign services is a guiding light for other girls,” said Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The foreign minister also felicitated her father John Kennedy over the remarkable success of his daughter.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi congratulated Rabil Kennedy, a Pakistani-Christian girl for qualifying for foreign services of Pakistan in CSS examinations.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi had a telephonic conversation with the girl. He appreciated her success. Rabil Kennedy is the daughter of a driver. She passed the CSS examination with distinction. So, a foreign ministry press release appreciated her admission in the foreign services of Pakistan.

Also, the foreign minister Shah Mehmood also felicitated father of Rabil Kennedy, John Kennedy over the remarkable success of his daughter. The minister appreciated the way he brought up his daughter.

Meanwhile, Rabil’s father, John Kennedy is a driver in the Legal Wing of the Federal Board of Revenue. Earlier, the Federal Board of Revenue also congratulated John Kennedy on the success of his daughter. The Federal Board of Revenue issued an official letter congratulating the father-daughter duo over the esteemed accomplishment.

The picture of the letter circulated on social media. Social media users from Pakistan and outside, rallied in to congratulate the family. They commented that the success of Rabil Kennedy from a minority Christian community heralds that Pakistan is heading towards becoming a secular and inclusive state. Where even members of minorities are availing the opportunities to excel and serve the country.

Pakistanis cherished the success of Rabil Kennedy. Meanwhile, appreciation pouring in from the minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is an encouraging and welcoming symbol.

Despite belonging to a humble background, Rabil Kennedy braved the socio-economic challenges to achieve her goals.

Five sisters join bureaucracy

Similarly, Zoha Malik Sher became the youngest and fifth sibling in the family to become a bureaucrat. All five sisters have set a unique record to clear CSS examination and join bureaucracy.

Her four elder sisters are already serving at various government posts. The eldest of the five sisters, Leila Sher Malik, passed the CSS examination in 2008. So, she is currently serving as the Deputy Commissioner at the Board of Revenue in Karachi. She cleared the exam at the age of 21 that made her the youngest CSP officer in the history of Pakistan. After passing her CSS examination, she secured a degree of MA in English Literature. Moreover, another sister Shireen Malik Sher passed the CSS in 2010 and is currently the Director of National Highway Authority posted in Islamabad.

Likewise, in 2017 Sassi Malik and Marvi Malik undertook the examination and both passed it. Sassi underwent a CEO training course at Lahore Cantonment. Currently, Marvi is serving as the Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad. Sassi Sher is now serving as the Deputy Executive CEO Chaklala Cantonment, Rawalpindi.
