Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan quit smoking as actor celebrated his 59th birthday on November 2nd. The actor once revealed that he smoked 100 cigarettes a day.
In a video posted by his fan page, Shah Rukh Khan Universe, the actor expressed his excitement, stating, “There’s a good thing – I’m not smoking anymore, guys.” However, he acknowledged that he still feels breathless despite his efforts to quit.
A large number of people gathered outside his home on his birthday. Sharing his picture on X, Shah Rukh said: “Thank you for coming over and making my evening special… my love to everyone who made it for my birthday. And for those who couldn’t, sending you all my love.”
In a recent event, Shah Rukh Khan said, “My parents, because they live in heaven and they will meet me afterward, kyunki hum log milenge apne ma baap se… Jaane ke baad inshallah… and jab main milunga I think they can see my films so I keep making my films bigger. I thank you for making my films so big and spreading them so that my Mom and Dad can see it.”
Earlier this year, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan regained his reign in the industry after winning the ‘Best Actor Award’ at IIFA for his stellar performance in the movie ‘Jawan’.

The actor besides co-hosting the International Indian Films Academy Awards (IIFA) won the best actor award. Khan expressed his delight over winning the award after a hiatus of four years. Expressing his delight over winning the award, Shah Rukh Khan said: ‘It’s good to be back.”
“I think I have a little happiness from the audience this year because I worked (again) after a long time,” he declared to crowds at a star-studded show held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Shah Rukh Khan registered his return to the big screen last year with two consecutive blockbuster movies ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathan’. His comeback became the biggest success story. He took a break from the film industry for four years, following back-to-back failures in his professional life and struggles in his personal life. Karan Johar co-hosted the ceremony alongside Khan. The renowned filmmaker also scooped up a special award marking his 25 years in cinema.
