Shah Rukh Khan says FIFA World Cup reminded him of his mother

The actor expressed his views in a tweet on Sunday night. Khan also thanked the legendary football Lionel Messi who led Argentina to a crucial victory after 36 years.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan says the FIFA World Cup reminded him of his mother. Taking to Twitter, the actor said the world cup final reminded him of his mother as he used to watch the football world cup with her.

The actor expressed his views in a tweet on Sunday night. Khan also thanked the legendary football Lionel Messi who led Argentina to a crucial victory after 36 years.

“We are living in the time of one of the best World Cup Finals ever. I remember watching WC with my mom on a small tv….now the same excitement with my kids!! And thank u #Messi for making us all believe in talent, hard work & dreams!,” said Shah Rukh Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan made a starry appearance at the pre-match show at the FIFA World Cup. He was joined by Wayne Rooney. Khan was smitten by the presence of Wayne Rooney and also copied his style. Later, the actor taught Rooney his signature pose. Pictures of Shah Rukh Khan and Wayne Rooney broke the internet.

The Shah Rukh Khan fan club shared the picture and wrote, “The legends doing the signature pose.”

On Saturday, in a question and answer session SRK was asked which team he will be supporting for the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 final. “Who are you supporting in the world Cup final tomorrow #AskSRK.” Shah Rukh replied, “Arre yaar the heart says Messi no?? But Mbappa is a treat to watch also,” said SRK.

A fan asked him for the ticket. To this, SRK replied, “Even I don’t have them…World Cup yes…#Pathan no!!”

Shah Rukh Khan is appearing in the Pathan movie alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The actor is busy promoting his film ‘Pathan’. The actor was last seen in Zero in 2018 alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
