Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan, Shahbaz Gill, mocks the picture of coffee posted by PMLN leader, Marriyum Aurangzeb. Aurangzeb is the spokesperson of the PMLN.

Maryam Aurangzeb posted a picture of coffee on her Twitter account. Aurangzeb captioned the picture: “Ordered coffee at a restaurant in Lahore and got this lovely surprise! Sher Agaya (the lion is here),” referring to the election slogan of PML-N after she received a coffee with a “lion” as latte art.

Shahbaz Gill, the Special Assistant to PM Khan on Political Communication, jumped in to mock Aurangzeb. Gill said the lion on coffee is made of froth that will dissolve soon. He advised her not to take things seriously since the lion will turn into a goat as soon as she would blow onto the coffee.

A few days back, Dr. Shahbaz Gill made some strong remarks regarding the opposition’s plans during his recent media briefing in Faisalabad.

Govt. not afraid of Opposition

The SAPM, on being asked whether the government is worried about the Opposition’s no-trust move, asserted that PM Imran Khan is afraid of no one. The premier’s recent power rally at Mandi Bahauddin was proof of the public’s continued support for PTI.

Dr. Shahbaz Gill hit back at claims saying that the crowd gathered at the rally were not PTI workers, but in fact, supporters.

“We had to move chairs to make place for the people,” Dr. Shahbaz Gill said. It is indeed true that the crowd gathered at Mandi-Bahauddin was a massive one. Pictures and videos went viral on social media showing scores of PTI supporters gathered for PM Khan’s address.

When asked about the new appointments in the PTI’s organizational structure, Dr. Shahbaz Gill stated that since Covid is ending and things are going back to normal, the party needs more manpower. Earlier, PTI central leadership announced the appointments of new provincial and divisional office-bearers. The move sparked claims that the government is worried about being ousted and is undergoing an overhaul. However, Dr. Shahbaz Gill brushed off the claims saying there is a need for more people.
