Shahbaz Sharif – “Make my video viral on social media”

The former Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif  sarcastically responded to his recent video circulating on social media. He said, “make my video again and viral it on social media.” He passed these remarks while talking to media in London yesterday.

The whole Sharif family reached London to be with the Kulsoom Nawaz prior to Eid-ul-Fitr. Shahbaz Sharif celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with his family and brother Nawaz Sharif in London.

Earlier this week, a video of Shahbaz Sharif running to cross a road in London without protocol vent viral on social media. The video garnered a mixed reaction from people. Some commentators appreciated Shahbaz Sharif’s gesture of moving without any protocol in London while a large number of people criticized him for hypocrisy.

They questioned the reason behind use of protocol by Shahbaz Sharif and other members of the Sharif family in Pakistan. Why are the elite politicians reluctant to change the VIP culture in Pakistan?  They stated that people in Pakistan suffer a lot when politicians move in Pakistan.

A Twitter user wrote:  “Shahbaz Sharif spotted in London while crossing the road. In Pakistan, they use motorcade and block roads for their movement. Whereas this is how they move in London.”

On the other hand, Reham Khan, the former second wife of Imran Khan, appreciated Shahbaz Sharif in her tweet. She wrote: “If this is real & not a lookalike then there is a new level of respect for this man. What a normal thing to do! No badshahat clearly.”

Shahbaz Sharif, who has replaced his brother Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as the party chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is in London to visit the ailing Kulsoom Nawaz who, according to her doctors, is in critical condition. The whole Sharif family reached London to be with the Kulsoom Nawaz prior to Eid-ul-Fitr. Shahbaz Sharif celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with his family and brother Nawaz Sharif in London.

Maryam Nawaz and Mian Nawaz Sharif have postponed their return to Pakistan owing to deteriorating condition of Kulsoom Nawaz.
