Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi meets former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday. The picture of the two figures was shared on social media.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan was also part of the meeting. Both of them discussed the current performance of the Pakistan Cricket Team. Imran Khan appreciated the team and especially Shaheen Shah Afridi’s individual performance in recent days.
Imran Khan is the former captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team who led the team to the historic 1992 Cricket World Cup.
Earlier this year, the 21-year-old Shaheen Shah Afridi was named the ICC Men’s Player of the Year Award. Afridi has taken 78 wickets in 36 matches at an average of 22.20. He has become the youngest player to be awarded the Sir Garfield Trophy.
