Shoaib Akhtar shares heartwarming videos from his Hajj journey

Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar will be performing Hajj this year as the state guest of Saudi Arabia.

Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar will be performing Hajj this year as the state guest of Saudi Arabia. The cricketer shared the development with his fans and followers on social media. He shared the picture of him wearing Ahram on his Twitter account a few days ago.

Akhtar wrote: “Alhamdolillah going for honorary Hajj as the state guest of Saudi Arabia.” Since then he is sharing videos and pictures from his Hajj journey on social media.

Interestingly, the former cricketer also addressed the Hajj conference attended by leaders of the Muslim world in Makkah. He reached Madinah Sharif on July 5th and shared the views of Masjid-e-Nabwi from his room.

Sharing the video he said, “Just reached Madinah Sharif, so so lucky to get here and have a room directly viewing Masjid e Nabwi.”

In another post, he shared a video of the aerial view of the Grand Mosque in Makkah from Makkah Clock Tower.

He also shared the video from Masjid-e-Quba. “At the historic Masjid e Quba. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) took part in the construction of this with his own hands. The first Jumma prayer ever was held here. Performing wuzu here and praying two Rakat nafal namaz here is equal to sawaab of one Umrah,” said Shoaib Akhtar in a tweet.

The cricketer also shared his experience of traveling on the Haramain Bullet Train. Shoaib Akhtar in his video said that the government of Saudi Arabia has done a wonderful job to accommodate the thousands and billions of pilgrims coming each year. He thanked the Saudi government for hosting him.

In his Twitter post, Shoaib Akhtar said, “Starting my beautiful journey from Makkah Muazzama to Madinah Munawwara on Harmain Express Bullet Train. One of the fastest in the world. An 8-hour road journey between the two cities can now be covered only in a little over 2 hours. Really looking forward.”
